Our Team
Wise and mature leadership is essential. Quality of character is far more valued over charisma. Our team is made up of a variety of members, from core staff & elders to ministry leaders. All of them work hard to shape the culture of our church, ensuring it's centered around Jesus.
Ricardo loves music, the outdoors and spending time with his family. He is married to his amazing wife Lulu and they have four children David, Larissa, Vanessa and Ariana, all of them love being at the beach or a lake grilling some carne asada. After being radically transformed by Jesus at the ages of 16 and 12 they soon knew their passion was to see lives transformed by God’s grace.
Then after graduating from graphic design school, got the opportunity to work as a video editor, in printing, and many church projects. In 2007 they landed in Temecula, CA, where they served together the community, planted a Church and began serving as a board member of International Christian Adoption. In 2021 planted another Church in North County San Diego where he begin serving as the Director of Communications for The Barnabas Group.
Pastor Ricardo is currently working on a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies and Leadership at the Calvary Chapel Bible College online courses. He has served as a pastor for more than 20 years and is honored to be the Operations Director at Calvary San Luis Obispo, California.
Finally, Ricardo and his wife are passionate about building a local community where they can continue to raise their kids and send them to college and into what God has for them in their lives.
